Anzac Ceremony

On the last day of term the whole school went over to the war memorial at Sheldon Park to pay respects to those who have fallen. Several ex Belfast School pupils died.
We sang the National Anthem and gave a minutes silence.
We are grateful to the men who fought so we could live the lives we live today.

Museum Visit

For our term trip we went to the Museum.
We explored the Museum and saw the way things used to be, many NZ icons, Maori houses, dinosaur bones and the Discovery Room. It was a fantastic day!
There was a lot of rain that day and we missed out on our Botanic Gardens picnic however, we had a great first school trip!
We look forward to the trips we have coming up over the year.
Here are some photo's of our day.
