Term 1, week 9

This week in P.E. we have been doing Gymnastics. We have been learning different shapes we can make with our bodies. We learnt the pencil, the pike, the straddle and the tuck.
This is the pencil.

This is the tuck.

This is the straddle.

This is the pike.

We are going to use these shapes on the foam mats to move into a roll.

This is a pencil roll. We need to keep our arms and legs straight and tight together.

This is a hedgehog roll. We need to be in a tucked up ball.

This is a dish roll. It's like a pencil roll but we need to keep our arms and legs off the ground like a dish.

We wrote a story on Tuesday as a class. We made a class book. Here is a link of us saying our Bubbles story.

On Tuesday we also had house colour afternoon. We loved dressing up in our house colours, doing Easter craft, having a scavenger hunt and learning out house chants.

On Wednesday we had our Celebration Assembly. Jacoby and Isabelle presented for our syndicate. Callum got the Principals award for being a caring meme r of Room 1.

On Thursday we were lucky enough to go and see our Buddy Class in Room 13. They did some plays for us. They did a great job.

We had an Easter Egg hunt with the other New Entrants and made our ownEaster  bunny baskets for Miss McCoy give us some treats too.
