Term 2, week 2

We have had a great start to Term 2!
We had 5 new people join us in Room 1. It is exciting to have some new friends to play and learn with.
On Friday we have Show and Tell. We can bring in something interesting to share or share some talking news.
We have been learning to ask questions. Good questions start with who, what, where, why and how.
When are we are talking we are trying to speak in a loud clear voice so everyone can hear us.
When we are listening to someone talking we need to be looking at them and sitting nicely so we concentrate on what they are saying.
We love show and tell on a Friday!

Anzac Day, week 1 Term 2

On Friday we had a special Anzac service at school in the hall.
We then walked over to the memorial at Sheldon Park to lay the wreaths we made and have 1 minute of silence to remember those we lost. Those people faught to make our world a peaceful place for us to live. We wore Poppy's to help us remember them and show our support.

It was a lovely service.

On Friday we also did the Anzac Ode in class for us to take home in our poetry books.
